Scanpower Ltd is a successful and financially sound Dannevirke based community owned electricity lines company. The company has a policy of seeking investment in financially sound local ventures and business opportunities that will add value to the company and the local community.

Scanpower operates successful retailing and servicing divisions in addition to its core electricity lines business.

The company is a major shareholder in the Norsewood based NZ Sock Company and was instrumental in the development, project management and on-sale of The Warehouse in Dannevirke. Scanpower Limited has a staff of 55 and has team members with skills in management, finance and marketing. The company employs a former senior manager of Oringi Freezing Works who has intimate knowledge of the site, its buildings, and machinery including the freezing and chilling plant, electrical and refrigeration equipment. The company is managed by an experienced and well qualified Board of Directors.

We are conservative in our business philosophy and look to create successful and enduring business relationships. We know our local community, our people, our area and the Oringi site in detail. The company will have a vested interest in the Oringi Business Park by way of ownership, electricity supply and possible company use. We plan to have a successful ‘partnership’ with all clients and investors in the Oringi Business Park.
