Centrally located within the complex, but separate from it, this facility has two functions:
Storage of chilled product and blast chilling of cartons in the three individual rooms within the facility.
This blast freezing operation enabled pre-chilling of product before freezing or prior to shipment.
Area 896m2 x 5m high = 4,480m3 temperature controlled to 1°C.
Carton Blast Chillers: 3 within the area, dimensions 3m x 8m x 5m high = 120m3 each.
Temperature controlled to 0°C in 36 hours at full capacity.
A most useful facility for product which requires quick turnover and/or chilling before shipment or despatch.
